We are very excited to celebrate our wedding in Washington (the state where we first met and where Lauren Michelle lived until last year). Unfortunately that means any physical gifts will be very difficult to take home and we don't have the budget to ship items. In an attempt to make life easier for everyone we have created an online registry.
We love this option because it allows you to see exactly what you are giving and how it will help, while eliminating any transportation costs. Additionally, we don't need very many small household items as Lauren Michelle is already living in our house and has many of those already. What we do need seems to be the big, expensive stuff. This registry allowed us to break down the expensive items into more manageable portions, that way no one feels pressured into giving too much.
